1.) DID YOU DONATE ANY MONEY/GIFTS/TIME TO CHARITY THIS YEAR? Nope, I barely had enough to get what I got for my kiddo. I'd love to donate if i could. I did give a friend at work like 9 bags of kids clothes tho that she said she used for christmas for her daughter, so I guess that counts.


2.) WERE YOU IN A HURRY TO GROW UP AS A CHILD? DO YOU EVER WISH YOU HAD ENJOYED BEING A KID MORE? I had a decent childhood. I wasn't ina hurry but my dad died when I was 14 and I ended up dropping out of high school so I could work full time and help with bills so I had to grow up quick.


3.) WHAT SNACK DID YOU USED TO LEAVE SANTA? DID YOU EVER CATCH A PARENT PUTTING AWAY OR EATING THE TREAT YOU LEFT FOR SANTA? cookies and milk, and I never caught them eating them, but I recognized santas handwriting as my dads when I was like 4.. lol


4.) IF YOU WERE NOT RELATED TO YOUR COUSINS, ARE THEY PEOPLE YOU WOULD PICK AS FRIENDS? probably not. I love my cousins but we live way too seperate of lives, we would probably have never crossed paths if not for being family. So thankfully we're family so i get to know them. =)


5.) WHEN WAS YOUR LAST AWKWARD MOMENT? WHAT HAPPENED? at work today.. hehe my favorite customer came in just as I was empting out his favorite thing in our store... lol so he didn't get any of it.

Have I mentioned my dislike for Christmas yet? lol I totally forgot we were supposed to go ut ot my other grandmas tonight for christmas.... so we had to reschedule it. I'm such an asshole sometimes. Theres just too much going on, I can't remember everything!

Got all our shopping for Mik done now too. Can't wait till this holiday is over... lol

Dyed my hair again last night. The blue I'd done a few months back has faded to light green and just washed out totally in other places so I figured it was time to do something else. So I bleached out all the front parts of my hair. My roots took ALOT better than the black did.. so it's white blond on top and like red blond the rest of the places.. hehe Sean says I look like Rogue from Xmen and that I should keep it like this. I think I'ma keep it a few days and see how I like it, and then decide. I have lavendar to put in it if I want to also. =) I'm such a weirdo.. hehe


Yesterday Sean took Mik out to the mall to see Santa. They bought me a couple presents while they were there... then came to see me at work. Sean said he didn't wanna wait til Christmas to give me what he got me, then got on one knee and asked me if I'd marry him all over again and gave me this really pretty ring that I'd been looking at a few months ago. hehe


I'd already started planning our vow renewal ceremony, but I was secretly hoping he'd ask me. See, when we got married, I proposed to Him... so I've never gotten an official proposal before. We'd always said our 10 year anniversary we were gonna renew our vows so I started planning it a few weeks ago... but I had no idea he was gonna get me the ring and ask. hehe I was so happy. =) It was sweet.

So, Aug 09, Sean and I are renewing our vows. I'm gonna send formal invitations and all that but plan it now out of towners that love me.... and come to our ceremony! What a better time to meet you all right?

I've been looking online to get ideas of what I want and I think I've found bridesmaids dresses already. I have a good idea of what I want to wear too but I'ma find that locally instead of online so I can try it on and everything.

This Christmas hasn't felt the same as it has in the past. I'm not sure why. Have had a rough year... but no one really knows it but me. My head is full of thoughts but when I'm asked what I'm thinking, I always say nothing. I can't figure out how to word everything I'm thinking. I'm sitting here right now trying to figure out a way... and still. nothing. I don't get it.

I'm not depressed I don't think. I'm happy with my life. I mean, I'm happy I'm alive... I'm glad I have a job, and my family and the few select friends I chose to be close to. I know the good things I have, and I'm aware of the bad, but I try not to dwell on those.

I just, I.... I don't know. I mean, I guess it could be mom. I do miss her. I talked to her everyday, and now it's been over 2 years since I've had someone like that to me. I talk to Sean, and he acts like he's interested but he's not. Guys are just like that. He'll let me talk, but he's not really paying attention... and it doesn't sink in... lol same with most everyone I talk to. So I keep it in and try and deal with it myself...

and then I get to this point. lol *sigh*

HNTattoos hehe

I was one of them kids who always tried to talk my mom into signing for me to get a tattoo before I turned 18... and she wouldn't do it.. lol so my 18th birthday I went and got my first one. My whole life I've used the ying-yang to symbolize my life. I'm the perfect mixture between good and bad. Half and Half... Ying and Yang. =) So it made sense that my first tat was the ying-yang symbol.... and I went for the normal boring run of the mill place most chics get their first tat at.... my ankle. Hurt like a bitch. lol


Well, the guy I was with was one of those "girls shouldn't have tattoos" type people and always hated it and told me I couldn't get any more.... so I didn't get any more for awhile. The day him and I broke up, I went and got my "tramp stamp" . I was 20 when I got this one... and later had to go back and have it redone because it all kinds blurred together, but it looks great now. And again, I went for a ying yang.


Then when Sean and I got married in 2000, we decided to get matching tattoos. Didn't wanna get each others names... too cliche and ya never know what could happen, so we went with matching ones. This is the only tat I have that I picked out of a book but we were trying to come up with something that looked good on me and sean both. =)


Went 3 years before getting another one... during that time I pierced a few things tho.. hehe Then Sean, me, his sister, his brother and his brothers wife all went together and had a "family tattoo day" lol. His sister, brothers wife and me all decided to get a flower on our hip. So I got a purple flower on my left hipbone. Well, after it healed, and the more I'd look at it, I didn't like it that much, wanted something else added to it... so when I heard my friend Creed did tattoos, I had him match the flower on my right hip and put a tribal vine across my stomach. So the left flower was done by someone different than the rest of this one.


I mentioned earlier the signifigance of the ying-yang and how it helps me to maintain that "balance" in my life between good and evil... that's what inspired my next two tattoos. So, on my right wrist, where everyone can see, I have my demon.....my evil side. And on the left wrist, I have my angel. (and since I obviously have a wee bit more evil than good in me, my angel also has horns)


Was sitting around with a group of friends one day and we all realized that we had something in common. In the past 3 years that Sean and I have been involved in Louisville's music scene, we've met some of the most amazing people we've ever known. Made a lot of really great friends.... and when we were all together one day, we decided to all get music notes behind our ears to signify all the awesome people we met thru music. =) Me, Sean, Russell, Chloa, Kat, Nijer, Staci, and Gina all have this tattoo, and I know like 10 others who plan to get it.


And last but certainly not least.... since mom died I've wanted to get a memorial tattoo in remembrance of her. I also plan to get one in remembrance of my dad I just haven't designed it yet... But mom, as you all know, was blind.. and at 5 years old she taught me how to read and write braille so that if I needed to leave her a note or something I could. So I thought it was only fitting that I have her name in braille put on top of my wrist, on the angel side.. so everyone could always see it. This is the smallest tat I have, and it literally took 2 minutes to get, and I never even felt a twinge when he was doing it... but it is also the one I'm most proud of, and the one I thought the most about getting.




and just fyi... all my tattoos are what make it so hard to actually post an anonymous picture over at the OHNT! lmao. There really isn't an angle of me that doesn't show at least one of them... hehe

Jan: Well, things are going pretty good around here lately. (I was talking about getting my tax refund hehe)
Feb: I've become everyones secret keeper.
March: There isn't a line here.. the first post for this month was a poster for the benefit show we held for a buddy of mine.
April: These pics aren't in very good order but I'll put a caption under each of them so you can tell when they are from and all that.
May: Went camping over Memorial Day Weekend and it was awesome! =) I love love love camping.
June: Took my kiddo to the park yesterday.
July: Finished filming yesterday for the movie we were in.
August: So last night, I had a conversation with a girl I'd just met.
September: Mikayla turned 5 years old Halloween's getting near Neil had another kid

October: Had to work from 9-2 which is a cake shift, and we weren't very busy so it was great.
November:At my job there is me and 3 other guys that work there besides the owner and occasionally his wife

2008

Our old computer died on us... and took along with it, about 10,000 of my pictures. I'm keeping the tower just in case I encounter someone who can extract my pics off it.. but for now, all I managed to save was the 1000 that was still on my camera. I kinda picked thru them and picked some of my favorites from this year. =)




Hurricane Ike for the first time in history came all the way inland to Kentucky... and a wind storm kicked our asses.. lol and left us without electricity for 9 days. learned to do EVERYTHING by candlelight that week. ;) But it was a great experience really.
Dark Knight came out this year... and my luv being the Batma freak that he is, hence the Joker nickname... he had to do his makeup for when his band performed on stage. =) He's so hot.
Took Mikayla to Kings Island for her birthday back in august. She had a blast and even rode the Vortex!

I'm Back!

I'm Back! I'm Back! =)


We lost our internet about a month ago when our computer died. (Rip little buddy lol) Had like 6 different people check it out and nobody could fix it for us so we finally broke down and purchased a new pc. It's a pretty new Dell... Me likes it. It's quick, got all kinds of space, and the speakers sound good. So after we get all our music (re) downloaded we will be back up and streaming again on Wildliferadio.com! So tune in.... tune in damnit... hehe I gots a tracker ya know... I see that you've visited me.. hehe so I know you're reading this. ;) So Monday nights at 8pm EST go to Wildliferadio.com and listen to my show. =)

Thanksgiving went well. My grandma is sick again, she had a bleeding ulcer and had to have emergency surgery to correct it and since then has been in a nursing home til she fully recovers. Shouldn't be too much longer tho. I hope anyway, I want her back home. So, I cooked thanksgiving dinner for all my family, grandma got to come home for the day, everyone came over, and we all got along. It went really well. I was happy. Since gma got sick, my uncle has been calling me more often too... and actually talking *to* me. My problem with him has always been that he has this habit of talking *at* me so now that hes started treating me like I'm a decent person, I've REALLY enjoyed talking to him lately. Makes me happy. =)

Had dinner at my friend Candace the day after Thanksgiving.. it's been a tradition between us friends for years now, it's always lots of fun. =) Candace has all these "interesting" little decorations at her house too... lol I was going to put up some pics but I can't figure out how to find them on my user from Seans user... lol Our new PC has Windows Vista on it and I've never messed with Vista before so it's a learning experience... hehe But, she's got this magnetic jesus that comes with clothes and shit to dress him up... it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. I'll put pics up once I get a chance to switch to my user. I gotta stay on Seans for right now cause he's downloading our radio programs. Anyway, she got it from Perpetualkid.com so I had to go check it out and I found all kinds of shit I want for christmas... hehe I'll post those pics later to. ;) (K, I got to post pics finally hehe, told ya I'd be back.)


I haven't been participating in HNT cause I couldn't access blogger from my cell phone but I've been on the "other" site every week I've been gone from here... in case you didn't notice. ;)

We've moved now too.... got all unpacked and everything... AND i got ALL my laundry done! I was so friggin excited about that feat! i've had a mountain of laundry for a year or better cause theres now ay I could afford to do it all at the laundromat so the second I got access to a washer I was on it. hehe I had laundry going as we moved furniture in.. hehe and now I'm DONE DONE DONE with it ALL YAY ME! hehe

Anyway, I guess that's about it for now... Just wanted to post and let you al lknow I hadn't disappeared for good or nuffin. hehe I'll post pics when I get a chance.
