A day at the Cemetary

Today, I took Mik and Sean to this old cemetary that bernie and I had checked out a few days prior... I knew Sean would like it... it's the original Louisville cemetary.. I think it started out as a military one because there is an abundance of World War I and II graves. It also houses the old building that used to be the original creamatory. It had been shut down for some time now, they've moved it... and it's been vandalized all to hell. But it's still neat to look at. =)

This is the "witch's grave" in the cemetary. If you can't read it, it's engraved at the bottom with "I'll live Again" I think it's awesome. =)

Mik was picking flowers and putting them on the graves that didn't have any flowers. She's a sweet kid.
This one was a child. Mik asked about the dates on it, baby was 2.

CV 420 at Shooters!

Well, first and Foremost.... happy (day late) 420 to all those who "celebrate" it. ;) We celebrated in true fashion ourselves.. hehe and Seans band Chaotic Vengeance also had a show at Shooters. This was my favorite of all their shows so far just because of the people who came out this time. =) They had a bigger crowd than the headlining band did and some of my old friends came to see him... and loved it. =) Couldn't have been any better. =)

Stuff

Nothing really exciting has been going on lately.

Seans band, Chaotic Vengeance had a show on Saturday but Mikayla and I didn't go. I couldn't decide which to do... lol

Saturday was Thunder Over Louisville, which is the kick off celebration for the Kentucky Derby. BUT, our mayor pushed it back a week or something like that this year so instead of being 2 weeks before Derby like it's been since it started, it was 3 weeks before this year.... which really screwed with attendance to it. I mean don't get me wrong, it was still packed beyond belief but it wasn't as bad as it's been in the past. It was also pretty crappy outside. It was all wet and rainy all day and cold so I didn't drag her out in it. She really wanted to go but at the same time she didn't... lol So we hung out with my friend Bernie and his little boy instead. We took the kiddos out to eat and then we came back to my house and made popcorn and let them watch them on tv and we opened the door so they could hear them boom. =) My neighborhood is really close to downtown, but my road sits just right to where you can't see anything but trees..... lol You can see everything from my grandmas roof though... we've spent a couple thunders up there. ;)

Seans show went well... it's attendance wasn't very large either but that was to be expected also.... everyone was at Thunder or scared of all the cops and traffic.... lol but he said they performed great. =)

First one I've missed =( (Last one I'll miss. hehe)

I also updated my blog a little.... didn't do anything real noticable... lol but I cleaned it up a bit and moved a couple things around some. Kinda centered it better.... Thought about giving it a make-over but I'm not feeling that motivated right now.... lol I was looking at my Myspace page the other day too and realized that I needed to do something with it... It's kinda blah. lol Save all that shit for a rainy day I guess. =)
